Your Wedding at Prince of Peace

As you can see from the pictures, Prince of Peace offers a beautiful facility and park-like grounds for Christian weddings. The Sanctuary/Worship Center seats about 275 comfortably. The Fellowship Hall is also available for receptions with room to seat about 200 and a nice patio area is attached to the indoor space.

Reservations

It is important that you contact us as early as possible to reserve space for a wedding here. We have many groups that use space and many requests for weddings. Please contact Carol Gobby, Administrative Assistant at (408) 253-7167 for information and to confirm a reservation.

Fees

The fee for a wedding here is $1000 for non-members. This includes the Sanctuary and staff services (pastor, wedding consultant and musician). A $100 deposit is required to reserve the wedding date. The balance is due in the church office 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Deposit payments are refundable if you cancel more than one month prior to the scheduled date. In that case, $50 will be retained for late cancellations.

The Fellowship Hall rental fee is $500 including use of the kitchen and patio.

Set-up and cleaning afterwards are your responsibility and a $200 deposit is required to schedule your event. This includes a $100 refundable cleaning deposit.

Pastoral services

Included with your fee are the services of our Pastor. His primary concern is to help you get your marriage off to a good start. Pre-marital counseling is required and includes the completion of an on-line inventory called Prepare/Enrich and at least one face-to-face meeting. If you wish to have another pastor perform the ceremony, we need to know who this person is and have the opportunity to consult with him/her about the ceremony.
