Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who provide one-to-one caring ministry to people experiencing grief, divorce, loneliness, job loss, hospitalization, and many other life difficulties.
Prince of Peace is actively seeking people willing to be trained as Stephen Ministers. Pastor Jim and Donna Christensen will be the trainers for this 50 hour course. Please speak to them or look for more information on the Narthex Table or Visitor Center.
A Stephen Ministry meets with their “care receivers” once a week for about an hour to listen, care, encourage and pray. It is really a life-changing ministry for both the care receiver and the Stephen Minister. Please give prayerful consideration to being trained and participating!
