We “Share the message of God’s love” through evangelism opportunities, connecting with our Prince of Peace family, and making our church “home” a welcoming and safe place.

Coffee Hour Hosts

Post service coffee is an important part of our worship routine. It gives us a chance to catch up with our visitor and members alike. Coffee hosts are volunteers who prepare and serve coffee and light refreshments after Sunday services. Every family is assigned to one month during the year. The monthly Coffee Host Captain contacts the families and coordinates service dates with them.

Greeters

Greeters stand by the Sanctuary doors and greet members and visitors who attend the 10:30 service. This is a great service opportunity for people who enjoy meeting others with a welcoming smile and handshake.

Each month has a Greeter Captain who coordinates Greeters. All families are assigned to one month a year.

Greeter Instructions

Bridging Team

  • A team who help connect new and current members with groups and ministries within Prince of Peace
  • Conducts the Annual Fall Small Group Ministry Fair
  • Coordinates the New Member Sponsor Program

    • Bread Ministry

  • Deliver home made loaves of bread to a visitor’s home the week they worship with us
  • The bread is a gift of thanks and a personal connection with “no strings attached”- No visitation is required
  • Bakers and Delivery teams are scheduled for two week assignments each quarter
  • Bread Ministry instruction

    • Wednesday Morning Social (Property Maintenance)

  • This group takes care of the church buildings and grounds
  • they repair and maintain any property matters including plumbing, painting, electrical, and maintain landscaping on the church grounds which includes pruning, weeding and plant installation
  • Meet each Wednesday morning at church, rain or shine
  • Join us for coffee break and cookies at 10:00 am!
