Affirmation of Welcome

"We believe the gospel is God's gift to all people, to be shared unconditionally, without regard to age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic or family status, or physical or mental abilities. We know the the world is often an unloving place and that the experience of alienation is all too common. To those who have felt excluded here or elsewhere, we extend a particular welcome in Christ's love. We rejoice that diversity has enriched, nurtured and challenged the life and ministry we share as members of the body of Christ and workers in the kingdom of God."

Mission Statement

  • Celebrate God's grace and glory
  • Share the message of God's love
  • Serve the hopes and hurts of our neighbors and ourselves
  • Strengthen the God given talents of our church family

About Prince of Peace

Connect with others, and develop a sense of family. Whether you were born and raised in church or this is your first time to attend church, you will find here a welcoming spirit and a sense of the presence of God.

We are a medium sized congregation with enough people to offer a wide variety of programs for all ages, yet not so large that individuals get lost in the crowd. At Prince of Peace, everyone matters.

We are not a Sunday-only congregation. You can find people on the beautiful church grounds nearly 7 days a week. Additionally, there are many different groups going on both at the church and all over the valley all the time. No matter what your interests, you're likely to find a way to connect with like-minded people.

We are pastored by a wonderful and spiritual leader, Pastor Jim Friedrich. Christina Jacobson is our teen and children's minister. We have a very active Sunday School with more than 50 children attending every week.

Our music programs are as diverse as they are excellent. For more information about our music, click here.

Virtually every age group is well represented at Prince of Peace with activities and individual groups available to all.

Participation

Our facilities are a warm and comforting place to be in times of joy and sorrow. Prince of Peace is this way because of the army of volunteers that make it so. There are a variety of ways to participate in our day-to-day and week-to-week operations. We also support a variety of local and global ministries on a regular basis.
